Terrorists threatened America! Ahh!

Did you see the news?! Suspicious packages have been found on a few planes after authorities made them land. About 13 (which is a lucky number!) suspicious packages and all of the cargo are completly safe and was removed from the area. No one was injured in the process of the incident. Chicago might be one of the targets. I may have heard wrong, though. My sister, who's also a young blogger, was confused and a little scared. My mom, who's the best mother in the world, was a little scared, too. I was the one who freaked out, though! This feels like 9/11 >: .Bye!

The Hooliganz Show

The best hip hop group in Chico, who have been touring the country for the past year, the Hooliganz, came home to Chico last night for an all ages show at a local clothing store. We went as a family and had sooo much fun! I said "go Hooliganz!" and J Pigg said I'm their cutest fan ever. It was awesome. We danced til our feet hurt!

I'm Home Sick.....Here's my blog =)

I'd like to say thank the entire Hopkins and the McMenemy familys for visiting my blog. Thanks to all of you who sent the wonderful presents and gift cards. Thanks to Auntie Faith for the beautiful boxes you made for us for Christmas with our names on them.My grandma, Mariam Mary Bracewell who died in 2007 is nice and I miss her so much. I wish she was still alive today so she could see me and see how big I have grown. She made great food!

I wish I had a lizard because they seem so fun to be with. Sometimes they're boring, and sometimes they're not. I like it when chameleons gulp down their bugs like crocodiles with their prey.

I miss all of my family that's out of town. I hope to see you all soon. Mom wants her laptop back now, so I'll post again soon.

Endangered Species Monday

Welcome to this week's Endangered Species Blog. This week we are focusing on the blue whale. Enjoy and please comment!!

General Information
Whale (Balaenoptera musculus) is a marine mammal belonging to the suborder of baleen whales. Blue Whales are believed to be the largest animal ever to have lived, at up to 30 metres (100 feet) in length and 140 tonnes (150 short tons) or more in weight.

Blue Whales were abundant in most oceans around the world up until the beginning of the 20th century. For the first 40 years of that century they were hunted by whalers almost to extinction. Hunting of the species was outlawed by the international community in 1966. The current world population is between three and four thousand individuals, which are located in four (or possibly five) groups, the largest of which is in the North-East Pacific. There are two groups in the North Atlantic and one in Antarctic waters. Blue Whales found in the Indian Ocean may or may not be part of the Antarctic group.
